The Ford Trimotor holds its place in history as the first practical passenger airliner. During the 1930s the "Tin Goose" helped bring the wide open spaces of middle America a little closer to each other. Stout Airlines served the upper Midwest and Great Lakes regions with the area's first scheduled air service.
