Charles Lindbergh completes his epic flight, the first solo non-stop flight across the Atlantic Ocean, to become an instant international celebrity. Here he flies over the seachlights of Paris, lit up to welcome the courageous flier. He flew over Paris on the way to Le Bourget Airport, where tens of thousands of delirious revellers greeted him in triumph.
